Introduction to CALL!

so have you heard about CALL? it is not a phone call or whatsoever call that you might have in your mind.  but CALL here is refer as Computer Assisted Language Learning and it is refer to the area of technology and second language and teaching and learning.

here is a little definition of what CALL is.
Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is often perceived, somewhat narrowly, as an approach to language teaching and learning in which the computer is used as an aid to the presentation, reinforcement and assessment of material to be learned, usually including a substantial interactive element. Levy (1997:1) defines CALL more succinctly and more broadly as "the search for and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning". Levy's definition is in line with the view held by the majority of modern CALL practitioners.

So  that are a few of the CALL programs that i have learnt. Just so you know that there are a lot of roles in computers and it all depends on us to use it on good or bad. the good ways of using in is by sharing information to others and the bad way that you could misused it is by doing cyber bullying which is not good at all. So please dont do that okay?

Making a powtoon with just two person in a group wasnt a problem at all. I realized that making videos is so much fun and it would be much more fun if the powtoon provide more free objects and character(free things is always so much more better.hehe)   I found that making a video and combining the soundtrack and our voice is quite hard. Topic 5 : CMC

Today we will be talking about CMC ( Computer Mediated Communication) it is a form of communication involved between two or more people through separate computers via network connection. SUCH AS : Facebook Whatsapp Twitter and many more. With the existence of CMC i guess it has changed our education to be more fun and exciting. CMC in education started in late 80's  and it was widespread through the uses of emails and forums and is implemented for long distance teaching. 1.
